Underpinned by Chip&#8217;s restless energy and driven by his desire to connect with the listener on a deeper level.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>\u00abMy albums are my legacy. Each one is a statement to the world of music and my contribution to its growth, its energy and ultimately its history.\u00bb<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cloud 10 features pianist\u00a0<strong>Phil Wilkinson,\u00a0<\/strong>vibes player<strong>\u00a0Ton Risco<\/strong>, bassist\u00a0<strong>Sneaky\u00a0<\/strong>and drummer\u00a0<strong>Jon Scott\u00a0<\/strong>(all veterans of previous albums) together with harpist\u00a0<strong>Amanda Whiting<\/strong>\u00a0and percussionist\u00a0<strong>Jack McCarthy<\/strong>\u00a0whom Chip met touring in the\u00a0<strong>Gondwana Orchestra<\/strong>, and rising star Irish trumpeter\u00a0<strong>Eoin Grace\u00a0<\/strong>who also doubles on flugel horn. The album was recorded at the legendary all analogue\u00a0<strong>Estudios Brazil<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>Madrid<\/strong>, with the band spending a week at Chip&#8217;s house in the mountains just outside the city, eating and drinking together, listening to music till the small hours and recording all day.
